The Executive Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government, Prince Abdul-Lateef Adedayo Ladega, has celebrated the Publisher/Reporter – in – Chief of THE IMPACT newspaper, Adelabu Olukunle, on his birthday today.
Prince Ladega described the celebrant as an objective reporter who has made himself the voice of the masses and mobilising people in the grassroots for community engagement.
The new council boss gave the commendations in a statement commemorating the reporter’s birthday.

“Today, we celebrate not just a media icon, but a pillar of civic engagement whose voice and pen have consistently shaped public discourse in Ikorodu.
“Your dedication to truth, development journalism, and community progress stand tall, especially during the just-concluded local government elections, where your platforms served as both torchlight and compass for many.

“Your timely features, objective reportage, and unwavering belief in participatory governance were instrumental in shaping informed choices and rallying support at the grassroots”, he said.
Prince Ladega urged the reporter to continue using his journalism profession to impact.
“As you mark a new chapter today, may your ink never runs dry, and your impact never goes unnoticed. Ikorodu celebrates you, and I do too, deeply and sincerely.
